Loan Processor
Our client, a leading global financial services firm, has an immediate opening for a Loan Processor to support their Fort Washington, PA operations.
The Loan Processor will be responsible for processing and preparing mortgage loans; registering loans on the origination system and maintaining system accuracy; issuing proper disclosures as required by federal regulatory compliance; reviewing rate locks and point objectives for accuracy; ensuring overage and underage is approved as well as waiver of any fees; setting up files and ordering all necessary exhibits for appraisals and credit reports; checking alternative documentation for accuracy and potential problems; ordering title insurance, flood and tax certificates and surveys; reviewing for problems upon receipt; reviewing all documents thoroughly before submission to underwriting; obtaining and reviewing documents for acceptability against loan conditions with the loan officer; coordinating with buyers, sellers, title companies, escrow agents, surveyors and real estate agents to obtain additional documentation; completing loan submissions and performing closings; and updating the conversation log as needed.
Qualified candidates must possess at least two years experience in mortgage loan processing; a high school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements; and excellent communication and organization skills.
This is a 3 to 6 month contract assignment with a growing company! The hours of this position are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm. The dress code is business casual.
