Loan Processor (FHA/VA)
POSITIONS: LOAN PROCESSOR
LOCATION: NATOMAS
RATE: $17 - $20
HOURS: 8:15 - 5:15
Our Client, a major Home Mortgage Lender in the Natomas area of Sacramento is seeking Loan Processors who have Government Lending, Interstate Lending, CalPers, and CalStrs experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Loan Specialist must be able to process purchases, manufactured home loans, refinances and home equity loans.
- Will be placed on specialty team of FHA, VA, and CALHFA, CalPers, bond loans, joint venture, interstate lending and production branch lending.
- Minimum 40 loans funded and able to manage an active pipeline of 55+ loans.
- Provide excellent customer service to borrowers, brokers, and internal company employees.
- Meet defined productivity and service level standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of loan processing experience and must have a full understanding of credit analysis, and underwriting processes with first and second mortgage experience.
- MUST have FHA, VA, CalPers, or other Government lending experience!
- MUST have experience processing for Lender/Bank, not a Broker
- Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and very effective customer service skills.
- Ability to work well with others/departments/units and demonstrate and encourage team effort.
- Ability to work well under pressure, tight time constraints, strict deadlines and fluctuating volumes.
- Able to interrupt and analyze credit reports, title reports, appraisal reports, flood, income verification and analysis.
- DE Certification is a plus!
